Mr. D. Trump
The President of the United States,
The White House,
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW,
Washington DC 20500,
Dear Mr. Trump,
My name is Helen Davies and I represent a ‘Brexiteer’ Group in the United Kingdom called The List. This letter is being currently viewed on our web site, where you can read more about us, if you so wish – home page
We would like to thank you very much for visiting the U.K. recently. No doubt you were aware that a juvenile, spiteful, contemptuous protest, regarding your visit, was carried out in London. These protests, alongside a very large effigy of you were shown on National Television. I would just like to let you know that ‘the left’ in this country purport to be very tolerant and welcome everyone; apparently, according to them, only ‘the right and Leave voters’ are racists, intolerant and haters. The left, or as we like to call them ‘snowflakes’ also do not understand nor respect the office of the President of the United States.
In fact, I think you will find according to our Criminal Justice Act 2003, a hate crime was committed.
According to our Police and CPS, the definition for identifying and flagging hate crimes is: “Any criminal offence which is perceived by the victim or any other person, to be motivated by hostility or prejudice, based on a person’s disability or perceived disability; race or perceived race; or religion or perceived religion; or sexual orientation or perceived sexual orientation or transgender identity or perceived transgender identity.” There is no legal definition of hostility so we use the everyday understanding of the word which includes ill-will, spite, contempt, prejudice, unfriendliness, antagonism, resentment and dislike.
If you would like to take this further, may I suggest you contact the London Police in the first instance, and name Mr. Sadiq Khan as the main perpetrator as it was his decision, as London Mayor, to give permission to this kind of demonstration.
We would like you to be aware that not all U.K. Citizens agree nor behave in this way and are appreciative of the continual support of the American People, our closest ally.
